About Us
Emergency Preparedness Consulting for Summer Camps
Camp Resilience Project was established in the wake of the Kerrville Disaster. It’s as important as ever for camps to be prepared to for disasters and we are here to help.
Camp Resilience Project was founded on a simple belief:
Emergency Preparedness creates confidence.
Founded by an emergency manager with experience leading disaster response, recovery operations, emergency planning, and nonprofit disaster services, Camp Resilience Project helps camps build practical emergency preparedness programs.
Our goal is not to create binders that sit on shelves. We help camps develop practical, usable emergency action plans that support real-world decision making.
Every camp is unique. We work collaboratively with camp leadership to develop preparedness solutions that fit your organization, culture, and operations.

We believe effective preparedness should be:
Practical - Plans should be easy to understand and easy to use.
Collaborative - The people who will use the plan should help build it.
Flexible - Every camp faces different risks and challenges.
Sustainable -Preparedness efforts should be realistic to maintain year after year.
-
CRP works with camps, big and small, to identify their resilience related needs.
